The Department of Geoecology of the Institute of Geosciences and Geography works in research and teaching in the context of numerous hydrological issues. An essential spatial reference is made to the Central German Dry Area. Numerous environmental studies on the water balance in the context of climate change are carried out here. In this section of the Insitu Data Portal we provide scientific institutions, technical authorities and the interested public with numerous hydrological and hydrochemical measured values from sampling campaigns in the Central German Dry Area.
