Plotha agroforestry system - Map of sensor stations

The Plotha agroforestry system is one demonstration plot for geoecological studies in the DiP-SMART Agroforst project. Monitoring of existing agroforestry systems (AFS) in southern Saxony-Anhalt to gather comprehensive findings on the ecological benefits. The results are expected to include quantifications of the influence of agroforestry systems on the climate and water cycle at the landscape level, as well as an assessment of the effectiveness of AFS in increasing climate resilience in primarily agricultural management.
